Once you’ve got your password and you’ve signed in you’ll be taken to your new Dashboard.  Once there you’ll be able to set up your brand new blog.  You can choose from a couple themes, activate some “plug ins”, and add “widgets” to your sidebar.  Experiment with all the functions and see what you can come up with!

Speaking of side bar, over to your right you’ll notice that we still have a chat box…click the little arrow thingy to make some noise.  the forum update and the tag cloud are all new and useful functions.

Anyway, have a look around.  If you’ve got any questions about the site then head to the forum for discussion.  We’ve got lot’s more plans for the site which means the site should be evolving throughout the year.  It’s all very exciting to us….

I’ve been downloading a lot of plugins and getting them setup on the server. Some interface tweaks still need to be made, but I’ve only spent a good twelve hours or so now making the modifications. A lot of progress has been made.

This post is also an attempt to populate the tags cloud. I think WordPress is going to be a good solution to our overall desire to run with an easy and fast development platform. Now all I have to do is learn how to write custom plugins (which doesn’t seem all that difficult according to the documentation) and start banging out the heart of our site.
